In this raag, both Gandhars and both Nishads are used, all the other swars are shuddha. In this, with Pancham, Shuddha Nishad and with Dhaiwat, Komal Nishad is used. However, in Avroh Komal Nishad is used always. In Jaijawanti raag, Komal Ga is always used between two Rishabh eg. Re Ga Re. This is a raag of serious nature.
